27.07.2019 Day 1: Aegina
Yachting in Greece, a country full of legends and ancient myths, will give you a unique atmosphere of magical mystery. You will be surprised in this country not only by the historical and cultural heritage, but also by the sea itself. In Greece, it is calm and deep, blue like the sky. You will feel the taste of this country with every cell after just one day of being there. Greek night is the beginning of the day, when you merge with the locals, filling small streets, restaurants and taverns to enjoy the beauty and originality of life in this small but such a beautiful country under the crackle of cicadas.
This is where our exciting route begins! Aegina is famous for its olives and grapes, and also has the largest almond and pistachio harvests in Greece. Here you can buy the most delicious nuts in Greece and ride in a carriage with white horses! And history buffs should definitely visit the Kolonas archaeological complex, located near the port.
28.07.2019 Day 2: Moni Island
Upon arrival, a surprise awaits you. Firstly, the sea itself with its sky-blue waters, looking at which, an enthusiastic association comes - a blue lagoon ... Secondly, the unusual inhabitants of Moni. The fact is that deer, wild mountain goats, goats and whole families of dapper peacocks live on the island. You can walk around the island and feed them bread, swim in the lagoon and sunbathe. Then we will go to the next place of our journey.
29.07.2019 Day 3: Poros
After Moni Island we will come to spend the night in this beautiful place. Here you can walk along the beautiful promenade with many entertainments for children and adults, sunbathe on the clean sandy beach and swim in the beautiful bay with a view of the most famous landmark of the island, the monastery of Zoodochos Pigi, located on a picturesque hill.
Afterwards, you can visit the bazaar, try 56 types of ice cream, climb up to the clock tower and take a panoramic photo, and at sunset see the famous "Poros woman" and dine in a restaurant with delicious local cuisine. Also on Poros is the famous Lemon Forest throughout Greece - it is unique in its kind. Its surroundings are immersed in the aromas of lemons, and the trees create an unusually beautiful landscape. In the depths of the forest there is a waterfall. To enjoy the beauty of these places, tourists usually rent bicycles.
30.07.2019 Day 4: Ermioni
Ermioni is an ideal place to relax and a starting point for many tours. The picturesque fishing village, which has become a tourist attraction for its natural beauty, is located next to a pine-covered cape and boasts sandy beaches, many small coves and ancient history. If you enjoy long walks, do not miss the opportunity to cross the small canyon of Katafikios, connecting Ermioni and Fournous. 30 minutes of truly magical walking and breathtaking scenery await you.
07/31/2019 Day 5: Spetses
Spetses is often called the "fragrant island" because many herbs used as spices grow on its territory. In addition, most of the hills are still covered with Mediterranean pine forests, which makes the air here clean and healthy. The most popular way to get around on the island is by moped and motorbike, there are few cars here, which also has a positive effect on the ecology. Most of the buildings on Spetses are rich houses of merchants and shipowners, so a walk along the old streets is a must for tourists. On the sidewalks you can often see mosaic patterns made of stones - this is one of the calling cards of Spetses. There are several museums and churches here. There are also many shops and souvenir shops on the island that will not leave anyone indifferent and will not let you leave empty-handed)))
01.08.2019 Day 6: Porto Heli
It used to be a small village, the population of which lived only by fishing. This resort has a picturesque coastline, lots of entertainment and magnificent views of the bay. People come to Porto Heli to enjoy life and spend their holidays at a leisurely pace. During the day you can swim in the cleanest bay, and in the evening relax in a restaurant on the shore. And here you can also see a beautiful view of the temple, which changes depending on the time of day.
02.08.2019 Day 7: Dokos
Dokos is as beautiful as it is wild. It is a beautiful uninhabited island with crystal clear lagoons and beautiful nature. The only trace of civilization is the ruins of a Byzantine castle. In the northeast of the island there is a wide bay, well known for its anchorages. We will moor here, in a wild corner of nature, which will be only ours this evening. This is the best place for snorkeling, hiking to the top of the island, barbecue of fresh sea fish and a pleasant dinner on board under the stars. In the evening the cook will prepare a delicious dinner, the captain will treat you to Greek wine, and in the morning we will continue on our way!
03.08.2019 Day 8: Hydra
The largest settlement on the island is the Port of Hydra. It is located around the harbor in a crescent shape. On both sides of the entrance to the port are cannon bastions that protected the city. On the left side is a monument to Admiral Andreas Miaoulis. On the last weekend of June, the island celebrates the Miaoulia festival in his honor. The embankment is where most of the shops, clubs, hotels and attractions are concentrated. You will not find regular vehicles here (except for municipal ones). Residents and visitors of the island move exclusively on foot or on horses, donkeys and mules. This, by the way, is one of the entertainments for tourists: people accustomed to city life are unlikely to be able to ride a donkey anywhere else. There are many mansions on Hydra that belonged to famous artists and sailors, and on the embankment is the Historical Museum and Archives of Hydra, which consists of three parts: an archive, a museum and a library.
04.08.2019 Day 9: Russian Bay (Poros)
This is not just a bay with crystal clear waters and soft sand, but also a historically significant place. It was here that Russian troops arrived to help the Greeks in their fight against Ottoman rule. The bay is protected from the winds and is considered one of the most serene beaches of Poros. The quiet bay is located 5 km from the capital. There is a beautiful sandy beach and a cafe with a charming hostess named Maria, who will cook for you the most delicious octopus, kalamaki, Greek salad and treat you to homemade wine.
05.08.2019 Day 10: Metana
The peninsula itself is of volcanic origin and has two craters that tourists love to visit. The main attraction of Methana is the hydrogen sulphide thermal springs, where the hydrotherapy centres are located. And not far from the health centres there is also a natural radon spring bath, where we will be happy to take you. The water on the beaches of this peninsula is always much warmer than on other islands. This is where we open the swimming season every year).
06.08.2019 Day 11: Angistri
Angistri is a small island of the Saronic group, distinguished by its coziness, hospitable attitude towards tourists and abundance of lush greenery. It occupies only 14 square meters of area, but on this tiny piece of land there is a place for everyone - both lovers of incendiary parties and connoisseurs of measured rest alone with themselves. Picturesque plants and refreshing springs, it would seem, occupy a dominant position on the island. But civilization has reached Angistri, filling it with decent infrastructure. At any time of the day, a stunning view of the Saronic Gulf opens up from the restaurant on the shore.
07.08.2019 Day 12: Aegina
At the end of our wonderful route, we come back to the island of Aegina. Here you can rent a car or a moped and go to another attraction on the opposite side of the island to the temple of the ancient goddess Athea. Locals call this ancient sanctuary the Temple of Athena Athea. Of the 34 columns of the temple, 24 have survived today. The Temple of Athea, located in a pine forest and seemingly hovering over the sea, is one of the points of the magical isosceles triangle. On clear days, from this place you can see the Temple of Poseidon in Sounion, which is on the outskirts of Athens, and the Athenian Acropolis itself. It is believed that these objects represent the sacred triangle of antiquity.
