Route

Start and finish in Palma de Mallorca. The route is chosen by the crew on site depending on their wishes and the weather forecast. You can walk around Palma, visit Menorca and the surrounding islands, or run a marathon to Ibiza.

The Balearic archipelago in the Mediterranean Sea is located 240 km east of Valencia. The islands are famous for their nature, beaches and wonderful climate and are one of the most attractive tourist areas in Spain.

Marinas where charter companies' yachts are located are located on all major islands - Majorca, Menorca, Ibiza, Formentera. Travel routes depend on how much time you have: a week, two or three, and on your yachting experience and, of course, on the weather.

Mallorca

The largest of the islands of the picturesque Balearic archipelago is the island of Mallorca. Its area is 3,640 square kilometers. In the southern part there are fishing ports, and in the east and west there are magnificent mountains, the foot of which is right by the sea, and on the tops of which there are pine trees.

This island is a contrast of civilization and untouched nature - it has something that is difficult to find on the mainland coast: in a short time you can find yourself in a variety of places, and for this there is no need to make long trips. In the northern part of it rises the mountain range of Trumuntana. The interior of the island, however, is a fertile plain, known as Es Pla. In the northeast opens the large bay of Alcudia, the entire eastern coast of which is indented by bays, many of which are not yet developed. And finally, the southern zone, called Migjorn - the driest and rockiest zone, which ends in wide beaches or steep banks.

Minorca

Of particular interest to yachting enthusiasts. This is a relatively large but sparsely populated island, full of peace, bliss and harmony. You will find many cozy cafes and restaurants with excellent seafood cuisine in the harbor of Mahon in the southeast of Menorca. In Menorca, you will encounter the ancient city of Ciutadella and harbors filled with fishing boats. In Mahon, restaurants and bars are surrounded by natural harbors and enchanting flowers. And in the small bay of Addaya, you can, in solitude, enjoy a quiet holiday and forget about the hustle and bustle of big cities. The second largest island in the archipelago. Despite its proximity to Mallorca, it has many of its own characteristics. The island is located in the northeastern part of the archipelago. Unlike Mallorca, there are no high altitudes here. The highest point is Mount Monte Toro (357 m) in the center of the island.

The northern coast of the island is steep, with pebbly and reddish sandy beaches. The southern coast is formed by ravines. These are wet areas with a special microclimate and unique fauna and flora that differ from other parts of the island. Two types of architecture can be observed throughout the island. On the one hand, completely white houses, typical of the Mediterranean, and on the other hand, buildings in a purely English style, evidence of the various stages of British presence on the island.

Ibiza

The island is 40 miles from Mallorca by sea. It is known for its excellent harbours and beaches. There are many restaurants, small shops and plenty of opportunities for nightlife. Ibiza’s two archaeological museums contain the best collections of Carthaginian art in the world. It was they who gave them the name Pitiuses – the pine-covered islands. Today, more than three thousand years later, the hillsides are still covered with evergreen trees. In the relatively small area of the island, only 572 square kilometres, you will find a beach to suit your taste: it can be a secluded corner hidden between the cliffs or a fully equipped recreation area. Thanks to its purity and tranquility, the island’s waters are an ideal place for a variety of water sports, including scuba diving, windsurfing, sailing, jet skiing and water skiing. The underwater world is very interesting and varied, and twenty diving schools and a decompression chamber, operating all year round, ensure the safety of these trips.
